Alright first off, let me clearly state that the only character you'll be playing in this game... is a wolf...So yeah, otherwise, this game highly lived up to it's expectations. Basically, the main character is a wolf, which I think are some of the coolest players to play, that goes by the name of Okami Amaterasu. The main villain goes by the name of Orochi, and essentially is a multi-headed dragon. Now, this game has a good story, and even comes with a little tale in the beginning (but then again, so do almost every other RPG game). However, this game has one absolute main flaw. The characters... all speak in some kind of gibberish, and what's even worse, is that the gibberish sounds the same, only the voices differ from one another. Also... Okami doesn't talk... she just howls, yawns, growls, and barks... because hey... SHE'S A WOLF! Now, looking past that, the game's battle system is pretty darn cool. You basically run across these demonic scrolls which take you to a sealed arena. The enemies will come out randomly until you kill them all, although there are really only 3-5 enemies that you face in one battle. I do like the battle attacks though, and even the fact that you get to take a wizz on the enemy... yes... you heard me... you get to wizz on your enemy. You also get to cut your enemies in half with your brush which you control with the analog sticks and which leave me to believe that this game should have a copy for the DS. Otherwise, this game is completely gorgeous, it has this kind of Chinese influence to it that just makes it so... calming. In the end, I highly recommend this game to anyone who's looking for a great game to keep them busy for a long time, for this game is longer than most people might think. Just when you think it's over, you find out that it's just the beginning. Truly a masterpiece.
