Falls way short of my expectations, no real challenge or lasting fun here. Don't waste your money!!!!

Demo had me excited. Graphics were great, gameplay mechanics were what I was looking for, but after buying it you find the game just lacks depth. Sure there's some more gangsters you can hire and a few more weapons to try but what you see in the demo is all you get with this game.

Sandbox mode was what I was looking forward to the most and wisely they left that out of the demo or I wouldn't have bought the game. I was hoping for something a kin to the old Eidos Gangster titles. Instead all I got was a choice of 4 small maps that you play in the single player campaign. There's no real competition to take on, like rival gangs. Even at the hardest level you can almost mindlessly build some businesses make some money then pay off the cops when they come to investigate and then that's the game.
That's all you have to do to play through the single player campaign as well. A whole bunch of rinse and repeat. Admittedly though the final battle in the single player did take a couple of tries to win.
Multiplayer was fun for a bit but hard to get a game and gets old just about as quick as single player.
