Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is so shockingly good, it completely obliterated my expectations.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is absolutely incredible. I just beat the game, and it stole a whopping 25 hours of my life for the first play-through. There is so much depth in this game. Five different playable characters, hundreds of weapons, tons of different weapons styles (offering different combos), a brilliant critical-hit mechanic (or known as Issen), a lovable cast of characters, a fantastic Japanese voice over track, awesome boss battles, interesting storyline, cool plot-twists and a stunning conclusion. Wow, I simply cannot believe how good this game is; it really does trump all other Onimusha games. There's plenty of good replay to be had in fully upgrading your characters, conquring the Dark Realm, and obatining the best-of-the-best items that any video game completionists will cream themselves over.
