just when i thought the onimusha series finally came to a close in demon siege, out comes a new installment that reels me back to good old feudal japan for another rollicking samurai adventure. the graphics and gameplay are commendable. with visuals this good, you can trick a friend in thinking that this is next-gen. the actions don't dissapoint, but the puzzles can sometimes be frustrating. its potentially long if you play all the modes, but they'll surely be repetitive. nothing special on sounds and i prefer the japanese dialogue instead of the english one. bottomline, tons of fun and a worthy successor, but doesn't do anything special to the series.
