OMG CAPCOM reels in another piece of unforgettable experience for us gamers with nothing better to do than play game

User Rating: 9 | Shin Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams PS2
Okays people this is yet another review for the very kick a** awesome game created by CAPCOM: Onimusha Dawn of Dreams. Ok so this game is on the PS2 even though there are already next gen systems like the xbox 360 so it must be pretty weak right? WRONG YOU A**HOLE I HOPE YOU DIE FOR SAYING THAT!!!! Onimusha has always been one of the PS2's main selling title and a butt load of others but its time to focus on Onimusha. In most of its predecessors u usually play as a samurai well u play as one here except he doesnt carry a katana he has a sh*t load of weapons. You also play with another miniscule samurai girl, rifle wielding maiden, a monk that looks very familiar, and this huge dude who can beat the sh*t outta those pesky demons (hes a priest... with a vendetta). So if you played all of the previous Onimusha titles then you'll probably catch on to the gist of things, tho if you havent then stop reading this review and play the old games cause your just wasting your time and my conscience. Anyhoo its doing the whole slay the demons and their pimps thing all over again but this time its twice as fun. OK intro done lets do some specific stuff

Graphics: Well its on the PS2 so i dont expect much but cutscenes, omg i think they've outshined some new gen titles. Thats right the games visual isnt all to bad in fact its probably the best you'll probably ever remember if your not one of those idiots that are only fascinated with explosions and nipples. Onimusha DoD has all the effects that bring out all those magic elements and super natural aspects of the game. Its all there and put placed carefully. It even has that cliched but cool move right through the enemy while cutting his whole body in half thing, pretty cool for a PS2 game. Anyway character movement is pretty smooth, nothing to complain about there. all in all it a great looking game

Sound: Well i never had to much to say about the sound unless it sucked hardcore but in this case it was done very well. Music was obviously constructed by the best and it completely fits in with the game without providing those awkward moments of WTH. Tho I'm not sure about the english dubbing since i played the whole game on japanese setting but as anyone can predict you can probably here better dubbing in a foreign porno japanese voice fits the tone and theme so play it on that or play it on english if you want to NOT enjoy a game.

Gameplay: Holy sh*t its so cool and ingenious. Actually no im just kidding but its fun since you can choose between around 5 differents characters that have 3 movesets each and completely different weapons and also you can team up in some of the levels. Yep theres Co-op so if theres anyone at home with you like your friends, girlfriend (highly doubt it) or just some guy who you found in your home trying to rob you dust off your PS2 and plug in both controls. Also there is an Rpg element though it is more effective on your equipment than on yourself. If you manage to grind in enough time and effort you might find that the last boss isnt that hard but do keep in mind that if theres grinding then that means theres an even bigger challenge most notably getting a gold in those little mission, some are easy others are nearly impossible unless you can crap away your entire social life.

Conclusion: Get the game if you like games and if you dont like games well waste your time by making new friends over the internet only to get butt f*cked in the end by a fat old man
