The first serious FPS has finally came to the Wiiware. Did it worth to wait? Find out!

Finally the first serious FirstPersonShooter has finally came to the Wii throught WiiWare. If you got to WiiShop, on the WiiWare, a game will call your atention for being a bit diferent from the others and that's Onslaught. For only 10 bucks you can get the first FPS on the WiiWare. This is an empressive game that finally gives the Wii a hardcore look. WiiRemote corresponds very well to the gameplay, the graphics are ok and killing your enemies has never felt so good. Te main menu in this game doesn't give you many options. First there's story mode where you'll fight various different bug like aliens to save the earth giving you new places to explore and a different look on the game. Unfortenatly the Multyplayer is not included in the Story mode allthough it doesnt seem very necessary. In story mode are given to you various mission with different objectives which can be cool so it doesn't turn boring. After that we have the Wi-Fi connection mode.
In Wi-Fi Connection mode you have three options:
.Play free mode;
.Play for the ranking;
.View Ranking;

Playing free mode is battling World wide or Region or even with your friends (Registed through Friend Codes) without counting for anything. Just battling around destroying aliens ate your own free will for the fun.
Playing for the Ranking is competing against other players to see who scores more in number of Deaths, Combos and shooting score. You should only play this mode if you want to set a place on the onlien raking because if you do soemthing wrong or if your score isn't that good it will lower your place in the ranking. The only bad aspect is that only 4 players can join up and you can't shoot other players.
Viewing the Ranking is checking the online battles rank or the best story mode aspects rank. You can see who's first, on every aspect, you can see your place and you can see your friend's too.

Now while playing there are offered different guns to choose from with different porpuses. It is important to choose the right guns as it might cost your character's life while playing. you also have a whip and an explosive to use (through the nunchuck). To control the weapon just point at the screen and shoot. To control the camera move around the wiiremote and to move your character just use the control pad in your nunchuck. To reload shake the wiiremote, to fire press B, to use the whip move the nunchuck and to throw the explosive just move the nunchuck like if you were really throwing.

Good: Artwork, online gameplay, general gameplay, good use of the wiiremote and nunchuck, prety much addictive...

Bad: It could use more modes and the nemies and stages look most of the time the same in different levels.

Conlusion: It was the first FPS on the WiiWare and it not disapointed to its expectations. The online is great, the inclusion of Wiispeaker, the story mode are all stuff that makes you want to repeat this game over and over again. Allthough we could you use more modes and different stages and enemies it's still very cool. Final veredict: Download if you like a very good FPS and excelent online play.
