Despite Realism, it lacks only one thing...
I looked at Call of Duty and thought, "it seems quieter when it comes to battles" but lets face it, the wars back then were far more bloodier, bombs being dropped, mortar shells non-stop and tanks firing at anything they see.
In modern combat, which I am glad to say, is not as bloody and gore. In fact, you have the time and space to experience what it could be like in friendly, resistance or the enemy territory.
I do have a case scenario, one of many that could occur in Flashpoint. Despite not having the clear and cutting edge graphics that we all expected but the the xbox version gives a chance at full hand on how hard it is with the joypad to manevoure and getting used to the buttons can be a handful.
Whilst standing with my unit knowing that everything is peace and calm, only the birds singing in the background, any minute a war could break out. Two minutes later, a car pulls up being the Sargeant asking me and two others to come with him and do a little bit of scouting and recon. I sit in the car and whilst on the journey, even when no one is around, I still ponder to look to sideways and adore the surroundings, however, I wonder if someone is there watching, waiting and ready to pounce on us. My fears came by when bullet fire riddled the vehicle and we had to disembark.......
The rest, you will have to find out yourselves.
To sum it up, you have to be on your toes, non-stop, only to have relief when it all ends but saddened by the loss of comrades. Its not always a case of combat, recon, scouting and gunfire as well tank fire will be combined to give you a full experience.
