Bohemia is trying to make gamers out of console kids

I aint going to waste my time slating the gamespot reviewer who scored this title so low, his review speaks for itself. I consider myself a pc gamer first and foremost, as consoles in general just do not provide the same type of immersive gameplay, they are all about eyecandy!!! which has its place but not at the expense of gameplay.

Very very few console titles have tickled me, so my box doesnt get much usage but when flashpoint came along i thought i'd give it a throw, as the pc original was as genre shocking as swat3. My expectations were low i predicted a dumbed down port for the juveniles, but i was sweetly surprised!!! If ya want a genuine pc classic for the box this is the one to go for, If you want to experience a heart pounding REALISTIC sim of mid eighties warfare this is the one to go for, If you want to engage your brain before your fastest finger, this is the one to go for, If ya want nothing more than a shallow run and gun, then avoid this at all costs.

I've been in the real deal and this is as close as your gonna get on the box. SUPERB.
