I bought this game after getting bored of waiting for battlefield: modern combat to be released. What a mistake! This game is quite possibly the worsed game i have ever played. Worse than Buce Lee : Quest of the dragon, worse than gravity games street vert dirt! How anyone has given this game anything above a 2 out of 10 is a Joke. The only way is if they are being payed by codemasters or they feel so stupid for buying this game, they want others to feel the pain of parting with their hard earned cash for this monstrosity too! For a start the graphics resemble that of an early ps1 game close up or from distance you could draw better in 'paint' on your windows desktop. some reviews have had the ordasity to compare the graphics to doom3, which to me could not be more of a joke. The graphics are horrible the voice overs sound like stephen hawkins' computer voice, the levels are bland and unpopulated and the game plays with a jerky framerate though an amiga500 wouldn't struggle with it. The missions are terrible. On one mission you get driven in a jeep to a truck in the middle of nowhere which takes about 5 gruelling minutes. You are then told to get out of the jeep into the truck then drive back to where you started, miles away! This nearly reduced me to bored tears and the funny thing is, this was the best mission! The AI is HORRIBLE! with soldiers who just run out into the open and the only difficulty in killing them comes in the form of the jerky framerate stopping you getting a good aim.
I'd hoped that the game would be better in multiplayer and fired up xbox live to play it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a farce!!! on the lobby screen there is no indicator to say who is speaking, we fired up a game and just ran around aimlessly for 10 minutes before deciding that the enemy team all must have quit. On return to the lobby everyone was still there and neither team had come into contact because the map was so big and samey that the two teams never came into contact. There is not enough terrabytes on the entire internet to list all the failings of this game. PLEASE PLEASE DONT BUY IT. I tokk my copy back days later and only got quarter the price trade in coz it was so shockingly poor there were already numerous returns. Dont listen to the reviews telling you its a good game, dont belive the 9.2 rating on the box xbox world gave it (which has since been changed) this game is a waste of your life no matter how much time you give it , the game will never grow on you or be any less terrible. DO THE RIGHT THING, STAY AWAY!!!!
