User Rating: 5.5 | Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising PC
First of all, Operation Flash Point Dragon Rising is so bad, boring and repetitive, that the original Operation Flash Point and ARAM2 doesn't deserve too be compared to Dragon Rising. Even if seen in its own spot, Dragon Rising is a bad combat simulation. Even seen as game, it fails.
Graphics are set back by a few years, too compensate for the lowest link in the chain... the consoles and so are the controls. It therefore fails to impress what any PC user could expect. Or for that sake, any fan of the original OFP. Simple things, as no free look - even when driving, is a complete failure and removes anything that could add more realism. The squad command system is too no use, as its slow and cumbersome. It all seams as a bad attempt too make everything more realistic by making the controls and everything else complete useless.
The single player campaign is boring and repetitive. It's to short, and in no way encourage you to play, just to get on to the next mission. Recommended age 6 - 12 years. If you are serious, go get ARMA 2.
