Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

I thought this was to be Operation Flashpoint?

Unfortunately, I was not impressed by this game and I do admit I had HUGE expectations! This is a arcade version of what was once a very nice army simulation. Now, it is like the stupid FPS Battlefield, Call of Duty, bullet sponge games. If I wanted a game like that, I would have bought those other ones. I was expecting a SIMULATION, and got a stupid teenager shoot 'em up First Person Shooter. I am disappointed to say the least.

Go with Arma 2 if you are looking for a real modern warfare simulator. If you like retarded, unrealistic, and arcade like shooters, then I guess you will like this version of Operation Flashpoint.

I am very very upset, I have been a long time fan of Operation Flashpoint and they dumbed down, probably trying to appease the masses.

Well, I hope it works and that the Developers make some money, then get their act together, and come out with a REAL OPERATION FLASHPOINT GAME!
