Solid game with some easily patch-able issues.
Gameplay: 8
Wide open world with amazing firefights that rarely ever get repetitive.
Difficulty is just right for someone used to the prior flashpoint games, or anyone used to Ghost Recon (original) or the Rainbow Six series.
Solo play is greatly ham-stringed by expanses of untouched and practically inaccessible land, not helped by the lack of a mission editor.
Competitive multiplayer is currently unplayably laggy, but this likely won't stay the case seeing as most MMO's and the Battlefield series often suffer from this at launch. Matches I have played have been entertaining, despite the current map count being a resounding 4.
Co-op is amazing with lots of tactics involved. It makes you feel like a soldier even more than single player does. Co op is the best reason to purchase the game.
Graphics: 8
Shortly put, the graphics aren't amazing, but forgivable considering the draw distance and sheer map size. Units draw as far as the map does however animations become jerky after 500m or so.
Sound: 9
Bullets crack by with surprising realism and encourage you to keep your head down.
Value: 7
Value is hurt drastically by the lack of a mission editor and lack of multiplayer environs. The latter is confirmed to be remedied through DLC, and Codemasters has noted the possibility of a future mission editor for consoles, and likely wasnt included with the game due to time constraints not allowing for the design of a console friendly mission editor.
Tilt: 8
I have so far enjoyed this game and it was worth the money I payed for it. I have faith in Codemasters to fix the issues the game has in the coming weeks and follow up on their word to add content.
