This game is great for realistic shooter fans.

First off I'll say this game is better than OF: Dragon Rising. It builds in every way compared to that game. It improves realism and its easier to heal yourself after being shot. It adds more voice acting and dialogue,to make you feel imersed in the action. The voice actors however use profanity ever 5 seconds so if you don't like cussing I would mute the game and turn off the subtitles. All the profanity and vulgar jokes make you feel like your playing in a hardcore Marine movie. It kinda seems like the people who made the Jarhead film wrote the dialogue for this game. But even though it seems like there is a lot of profanity it actually fits well into the action. Even though there really isn't much character development, its certainly more than what was in OF DR. The game really doesn't have an engaging story it just pretty much throws you in the heart of battle and tells you to kick ass. There are missions in the game where the enemies will overwhelm you which forces you to think and use tatical attacks instead of just running in and putting lead through everything you see. The guns are cool and they shoot pretty good also. You have the option of using your standard marine issued guns,or killing an enemy and picking up their weapon. But by picking up an enemies weapon you are at risk of the gun jamming in the middle of a fire fight which could get you killed easily. The gunplay is alot slower than COD but it is faster than Dragon Rising. It has a realistic bullet drop feature that will make you think twice about how you take a shot. If your shooting from a good distance you need to aim high so it will travel the distance and drop to hit your target. This keeps you from firing straight ahead from 200 meters and hitting an enemy straight in the head without even trying to aim. The battle area is huge compared to COD games. This makes it easier for enemies to hide in buildings and behind bushes and brush. Even though the battlefield isn't as big as Dragon Rising it still isn't small and it manages to give enough room for huge fire fights. You fight within a team of 4 marines thats with you included. I will be honest if you're playing single player campaign without any real people playing with you, then you'll pretty much be doing all the killing, because your teams AI doesn't help hardly ever. If anything they get in the way and make you shoot them. If you give them orders they will listen for about 5 minutes. For instance if you tell them to rush to this position and stay there. They will but only for a limited amount of time. That can get pretty annoying win a lot of enemies are rushing your location and you actually need them to stay in that exact position. The scenary in this game is good at times and sometimes it doesn't load up fast enough and you can see glitches in the trees and ground. The sun is the most realistic thing because it actually glares in your face keeping you from seeing 100% which is a cool realistic feature. It doesn't have the best graphics I've ever seen in a videogame but they aren't bad either. Overall if you like shooters and you would like to see a little more realism than your average shooting game then I would suggest you try this out.

The Good- Brutal,Great Sound Effects,Interesting Gunplay, Realistic Action,

The Bad- AI is no help at all, Multiplayer isn't anything special,Occasional Glitches.
