I had never heard anything about this game until I saw the reviews and gameplay footage right after it was released.. It looked awesome and I downloaded it right away.. The game is an action platformer done extremely well.. The game takes place in 5 different very large stages each of which should take you around an hour or more to complete.. This game had me stopping after each stage since it took so long so it could take you about a week if you play it like this.. At the end of each stage is a challenging extremely well designed boss fight that will really test your skill with this game.. One thing that is unique about the game is how you can harness the powers of light(blue) and dark(red).. While in blue you can only harm red enemies, and blue orbs do no damage to you and the same with red.. There are also platforms that are only activated when you are of a certain power.. You also get a large amount of powers to use, the shot power which fires a beam of energy destroying enemies in its path, one that absorbs blue and red energy then causes an explosion, teleportation power, launch pads which send you high into the air, and more.. Theres alot of jumping and fighting in the game and the fighting is very enjoyable and mixes it up with different types of enemies, some wield shields so you have to leap over them and attack from behind with the right color.. Some minibosses like the giant knights you need to target there legs under there shield, then when they lower it jump and attack there exposed head.. The graphics in this game really are quite beautiful, with scrolling clouds and moving machinery in the background, and each stage has a distinct color to it.. The animation of your character is fluid and looks great.. The game does have a quite mysterious mythical look to it as well which is a plus.. The sound effects are all great from the sound of your footsteps to the hacking at an enemy.. I also really liked the epic music it had.. Overall for 800 msp its no question that this is a definate download!
