I am not one for Indie games but this is one that i am glad i picked up, It is very different than your average game in the fact that you are mostly hiding and running away and not so much shooting your way around.
If you are a fan of horror and suspenseful games than i don't see why you wouldn't like Outlast, Everything is executed nicely where you are genuinely afraid on what awaits you in the next room or that door you are about to open, Although the game starts off how any horror game should, it does start getting a bit repetitive after a while, Still even with the slow second half it is still a great game.
Graphics are above average for an Indie game, although this being in the horror department there is not a lot going on at any given time which works to the advantage of the low budget these companies have.
Overall i liked it although not a game you would want to play twice.
