If you are new to the series, appreciate golf, and aren't easily offended, or liked the original this game is worth $20.

After playing countless hours of the original and anxiously awaiting the sequel, all I can say is WOW!!! There aren't a LOT of changes from the original, at least not that I've found, but the addition of more characters and courses, and the online element should give you more than enough reason to spend the $20 for this one. The graphics aren't groundbreaking, but they are pretty. Especially the characters. If you know anything at all about this game then I will assume you know what I'm talking about. I'm not really an eyecandy person, so I don't feel comfortable discussing graphics...all I will say is that it looks very nice. The only real complaint, and it's not much of one, is the sound. Some of the commentary gets old pretty quick. It would have been nice to have a little bit of variety in there, although Dave Attell does have some pretty funny comments. Other than that, the sound effects are right on par, as are the character voices. The gameplay is excellent. You can learn the game in about 30 minutes or so, but just learning the game is not going to make you good. It's going to take me awhile to get good at it...unlike Tiger Woods which I learned in under an hour and began winning tournaments in the second hour. I think that if you like golf and are not easily offended, then you should definitely shell out the $20 for this game.
