Best Racing on the PS2? Don't make me laugh...
Gameplay: Pretty much just like the arcade version nothing changes. AI cars have rubber band effect (meaning no matter how well you drive they are always there to take over 1st when you slam into a wall). That gets annoying and old after a while.
Graphics: It's really not a good looking racing title at all. I mean this would've been better if this game came out when the PS2 debuted, but in 2006? With these graphics? It's just not good and it doesn't cut it.
Sound: All of the cars sound like they have go cart engines. The voices? Probably the poorest quality you can have. They get mixed into the music and it makes it hard to even understand them. After listening to the music for 15 mins you'll just want to shut the sound off all together and plug in some real racing music.
Value: I rented this game and i'm regretting even renting this piece. You'll like the game for 10-15 mins. Then you'll want to find something else to do just to get the memory out of your head. Rent it if you must, but please don't buy this even if it is only $30.
