Overlord Dark Legend is a fun, addictive game. Sadly though it has a few issues.

If your reading this and haven't played overlord i'll give you a quick summary. Its basically pikmin with a dark humor, fantasy twist. If you haven't played pikmin then your the worst nintendo fan of all time. The controls and frame rate for this game are great. Granted there are some MAJOR issues with this game such as if you play to much it will freeze on you like an old N64 game (unacceptable) and villagers and characters sometime repeat phrases constantly. Those are the major issues i have found. The story is very good and sticks to the dark humor of the other overlord games. Also you can upgrade powers of minions, weapons, armor, etc. This aspect helps make the game rather addicting and fun. The difficulty flucuates which gives it a little different approach on gameplay, but it never really ruins the game. I've heard there are only ten hours in the game which is pretty good for a game like this. The controls are smooth and responsive. If you've heard that other overlord games had multiplayer you were correct. This version though does not. If you are looking for a fun 1 player game that will kill a few hours this game is worth it.
