Disappointing
What a shock it was to find out that it was basically a bizarro Lord of the Rings game. A good Sauron type must fight the evil Fellowship. How evil can you be when none of the peasants are afraid of you? When they are actually relieved to see you? When the good guys are actually worse than you are? That was the first let down. The senseless killing of people doesn't really have much effect on the game itself.
While I really like the minion aspect of the game, it can become an exercise in tedium and frustration in later levels. All four types are very single task oriented and it can be a pain using the sweep function. Not to mention the fact that only the blue type of minions can swim and they are by far the most useless of all four minion types.
This game is really nothing close to what I originally thought it was going to be. The style, characters, settings, and quest style all feel too much like Fable. Its all incredibly familiar if you've played Fable, but familiar nonetheless if you've played any fantasy game.
