Multiplayer is a blast, but GC/GBA cable is annoying.

User Rating: 8 | Pac-Man vs. GC
Pac-Man vs. is a great game. It was available through a variety of different freebies awhile ago, and it certainly was a freebie that made the package much better! Pac-Man vs. is a multiplayer-only game, so the multiplayer is, obviously, essential to make the game any good. Thankfully, the multiplayer is excellent and very fun to play with friends and family. Three people play as the ghosts split-screen on the TV while the fourth person is Pac-Man, who plays on a GBA connected by the GBA-GCN cable in controller socket 4. The people playing as the ghosts, obviously, try to get Pac-Man and the person playing while Pac-Man, obviously, tries to clear the level without getting touched by a ghost. Whichever player touches Pac-Man first plays as Pac-Man in the next round, and the two players switch controllers. This can also be annoying with wired controllers. For getting Pac-Man, the ghost player gets 1600 points and the Pac-Man player loses 1600 points, but the Pac-Man player gets points for the stuff he eats before he gets hit by the ghost as well. Whoever gets to the set amount of points first wins. The game can be played on several different mazes, adding a bit of variety, but the original maze is the best one in the set.

Being a freebie, Pac-Man vs. didn't really need to be this fun, but it was! If you can, I recommend you play this game for a little bit, because you'll have a lot of fun with your friends and family if you give it shot!
