Even better than the game its packaged with!

User Rating: 7.7 | Pac-Man vs. GC
When Pac-Man World 2 for the Gamecube became a Player's Choice title, Shigery Miamoto, with the permission on Namco, added Pac-Man Vs. as a bonus. Surprisingly, this is actually funner than Pac-Man World 2 making this game alone worth the $20.

The game has a bad presentation so don't give in at first site. The graphics lack the capabilities of any other Gamecube game making this some of the worst graphics on an actual GCN game, not a re-release or a classic title. That being said, the graphics aren't horrible they just aren't attractive and pretty bland backgrounds also don't help. There are different settings but most of them are on the generic side.

The music, well there really isn't any music. You hear Mario's voice as the narrartor which doesn't at all fit into a Pac-Man game and you also hear the pellets sounds. It gets kind of annoying how whenever you get a power pellet, Mario voices "Pac-Man got a Power Pellet!"

The gameplay is simple and easy for anyone of any age to pick up and play and be addicted. There is no single player mode and you need a GBA controller. Pac-Man controls by hooking up the GBA to the Gamecube with the connectivity cables and then he/she looks on the GBA screen for their screen as they control Pac-Man. These graphics look just like the old arcade games. The 1-3 ghosts use GCN controllers and look at the TV screen with 3D graphics as they manueve around. Whoever gets Pac-Man wins and Pac-Man just tries to get all the pellets. So, the game has way better A.I. since it's human players and it's way fun.

Is it worth it? It's a great bonus but make sure you have people who will enjoy playing this game a lot to get maximum replayability out of it. Remember, there is no single player and you need one GBA and connectivty cords along with 3 controllers for your best Pac-Man Vs. experience.
