A decent game bought for $20. Relatively straightforward fun, with a few frustrating challenges along the way.

I bought this game because I was in the mood for a little Pac Man fun. For a budget price I was pleased with the game. Graphics: The graphics were quite decent for the game, portraying a cartoony 3-D Pac Man in a 3-D world. A lot of the worlds are quite colorful and rarely do you ever not know where to go. One of the problems I had, though, was the last few levels were quite dark and it was sometimes hard to see a platform or to determine where to go. Control: The controls are ok. I mean, you did not die often as a direct result of the controls. The camera, though, presented many issues. In most cases the camera is readjustable with a button press or by moving the C-stick. In some cases, though, I found the camera got stuck and prevented you from seeing Pac Man or from showing you where to jump or run to. This resulted in a few "leaps of faith". Sound: Effects are pretty much what you expect, including the classic "Pac Man eating pellet sound". Music was pretty good. Initially, I got sick of the music because it seemed repetitive, but eventually I found myself humming along with it. D-d-d-d-da-dum-...well, you get the point. Value: For the price I bought it for, it was enjoyable. Would I play through it again? No, it wasn't Beyond Good & Evil enjoyable. I must also mention, that my copy came with the multiplayer Pac-Man Vs., but because I only have one Game Boy, I could not really test this mutliplayer aspect out very well.
