Panzer Dragoon Orta is, unfortunately for me, yet another game where this is the latest in the series, but this is the only one I have played. Given that, my perspective on the game is pretty much with a clean slate. That said, I can say that this is an amazing story-based shooter. The very basic, low spoiler plot is that you play as a girl named Orta that is rescued from a prison by a dragon that has different forms (speed, regular, and power) that have different overall abilities & uses. While this all sounds very basic, between some upgrading and the purely terrific AI and surrounding happenings in the game, make it a truely great title for the Xbox, one that is also unique to the system.

Gameplay- 9- The game plays great. It is all flight based and the dragon, which you control, shoots where you aim (with some homing ability), and also have use of special attacks. Everything moves smoothly and, thanks to the radar, you have more than enough awareness of what is going on as to not ever get cheesy, which is a big plus to this game. A lot of shooters such as this have a tendency to just throw too much at you without a real way to get out right, but this game does a great jobof making it so that you need real skill, not just some dumb luck.

Graphics- 10- This game looks just amazing on the Xbox... Sga was one of the best at really showing what Xbox could do early on

Sound- 9- Solid sound & bg music that never gets old

Value- 8- Some replayablility cuz its fun, but I not for everyone

Tilt- 9- Just an awesome title. Get it while you still can.
