This game is the essence of hand-held strategy games

User Rating: 9 | Panzer Tactics DS DS
I started with this game the day I got it, Christmas. I completed the German campaign in early Febuary, the Russian campaign in late March, and the Allied campaign in late May.
This game gives you a realistic strategy veiw of World War II. The learning curve is steep, but the reward is amazing. The different terrain, the diversity of units, the troublesome commandos, and the mighty battleship all put this game in fame. Well enough of the bragging and game worshipping let's start the reveiw.
Gameplay 10/10: The gameplay is long. The german campaign was short and not much of a challenge. As for the russian and allied campaigns, They were exciting and very difficult. It takes will and effort and luck to beat a level. The fame is also very intersting to play around with.
Music 8/10: The background music is very fitting, I find it similar to music played during war movies. It fits well. The sound however is slightly unbelievable. I found the explosions and gunshooting very "scratchy."
Graphics 8/10: I found the graphics excellent for the DS. I only wish that during the cinematics that they would unfuzzy the units a little.
Multiplayer 9/10: The options for multiplayer are LAN, hotseat, and wifi. The LAN connection is very easy and nice. The hotseat is a little troublesome but isn't quite too bad. The wifi server is bad but not too bad. I only wish that it was built more like the LAN mode.
Cheats 10/10: THERE AREN"T ANY AS OF NOW, AND ITS BEEN LIKE A YEAR SINCE IT CAME OUT. There are many spoilers for me. cheats are what I call spoilers. They ruin the game for me. In a way if you don't have self control with cheats, this is the game for you.

Summary 9/10: The music is a little scratchy, the graphics aren't that great, but what this game loses in sound in graphics it makes up in gameplay, multiplayer, and difficulty.
