Panzer tactics is a great game if you are already a fan of war gaming or any other turn based strategies.

I have been waiting for Panzer Tactics DS since I first saw the TBA status on Gamespot several months ago, and the wait has been well worth it. Though I am a war gamer, I have to admit the learning curve was steep, spending more than an hour just to get the feel for using my many different troop choices to their best ability. Once I was confident with the training I began the campaign. You start as the Axis (Easy) then continue to the Red Army (Medium), and finish off with the Western Allies (Hard). Don't let the fact that the Axis campaign is easy mislead you, it is pretty hard. Some missions will take you multiple attempts before you can crawl out of the trenches with a high ranking victory or accomplished secondary objectives (which give you bonuses for the next mission). In short, this game is a hand full, it will keep you entertained for a long time. The only problem for most people is, this is such a deep strategy it can seem like to much to bite off. For that reason, I encourage fellow war gamers tacticians to buy this game, for others I suggest borrowing or buying used at a local used game store.
Think Allied General meets DS.
