This is a game everyone will enjoy! Unless you don't like roleplaying games with turn-based battles, and can't stand reading. (which is your problem, as you miss out one great game). Let me make it simple... If you own a GameCube, you need this! Don't let the paper graphics scare you off, you'll be amazed on how well they use the paper concept in this game. I won't spoil any abilities in this little review. You'll meet a lot of interesting characters in the game (some will join your party on your quest). Players of the classic Mario games will recognize many different characters and enemies. The game has many funny moments and dialogue. You are guaranteed to smile and/or laugh at times. The turn-based battle system uses Action Commands, which requires you to push certain button combinations at the correct timing. This makes the battle in Paper Mario more action oriented and rewarding (doing more damage or taking less damage if timed correctly). Mario also has an audience which will grow and shrink according to his performance. If you have some fans among the crowd, they will throw good stuff to you. Sometimes there are hooligans throwing trash and stones at you. It's possible to defend yourself against such attacks, but watch out or you might attack a innocent fan. I'll keep the review rather short... check out the GameSpot Review if you haven't already.
