Fun...if you're a 12 year-old.

Don't get me wrong. Paper Mario is cute, and fun....for about an hour. After that, the characters begin to annoy you, the backtracking becomes very tedious, you realize the plot really IS that simple and juvenile, and you'll have mastered the techniques to inflict maximum damage on your foes every time.

The graphics are cute, and some of the aspects of the game a unique play on classic role-playing. But beyond this, it's hard to enjoy past the first fe hours.

I'm not sure how all the reviewers continuously praise this game, calling it "hilarious," "addictive" and "tons of fun." To anyone with an IQ over 100 (which is average), the game becomes more of a chore that you feel compelled to complete simply due the amount of embarrasing hours you've dedicated to it.
