This game surpasses the original, and thats a very difficult task to complete. With its stunningly original graphical presentation, concept, that even extends on to effect the gameplay itself. Innovative, beautiful, and very fun turn based play. To a certain extent this game can even be considered strategical.

Gameplay - 10
Excellent, very fun unique innovative moves to do to get places, fun moves in battle, great turn based play, lots of time released moves to master, plenty of unique paper based platform moves. Switching between various characters and using your pals also adds to the experience.

Sound - 10
As most mario games, this one has beatiful sound.

Graphics - 10
Nothing like RE4, but more unique and well presented then most games.

Storyline - 8
Better than usual.

Overall - 10
This is my favorite mario adventure game of all time, even more so then the legendary Super Mario World. Although its replay value is a little weak.
