Princess Peach? Captured? Again? I'll be there in minute...
You start off in your good old Mario house with your brother Luigi. You get a letter from Princess Peach telling you there's a secret treasure somewhere and tells you to help her find it. Attached to the letter is a secret map that helps you find the treasure. You go to where the princess was: Rogueport. Rogueport is a villainous city filled with thugs and criminals. However, under the destructive city, is a royal city that contains the secret treasure Peach spoke of. It is an ancient city that used to thrive with people and was a prosperous place to live.
In this city you meet your first partner: an archaeology student goomba named Goombella. You also meet her professor: Professor Frankly. The professor tells you where to go and you then start your adventure through the fun filled adventure land of paper mario. You get new abilities, partners, badges, and other cool stuff to aid you on your journey.
This was a really fun game. It was solid the whole time through. There was no need to go back and train really hard to become good enough to beat the game. Just fight 60% of the enemies you spot through your journey, and you'll be fine. The fighting was great. It was easy to jump in and get used to the fighting style.
This is a really great game, as all mario games are. Intelligent systems made this game as well. I'm starting to get a great liking for intelligent systems. They make my kind of games. You should check out all of their games. Go pick this game up!
