Paper Mario: The Thousand-Years Door is the first Paper Mario I played, maybe because of that I was so impressed with it, and I have to admit I have no point to compare it with it’s predecessor, but anyway what I can tell you about it is that it is a very complete and fun RPG game, has an interesting and funny story line that takes you to very different and complex worlds, a turn based fighting system (Perfect for those who love a Final Fantasy kind of fighting game kept simple) with audience that cheers you for the way you entertain them battling, it have side quests, and collectibles (Badges that modify your attributes in battle, so you can customize, in a very simple way, your characters) (and an item mix option in a place in a town that allows you to create foods that will help you as improved items).
I’m in the last levels of this game and I already bought the “Super Paper Mario” for Nintendo Wii and the “Superstar Saga” for GBA and will buy the “Partners In Time” for DS, just waiting to finish this one to start with the others.
