paper mario is my favorite rpg of all time. And we all know what that means. This is now my all time favorite game.

At first when this game came out i really didnt want to get it. I was hoping for a sequal to mario rpg for the snes but when i saw this i got dissapointed so i didnt get it. But just about 2 days ago I decided to download this from the virtual console and to my suprise this was a top notch rpg, Damn i missed alot over the last 6 years. As we all know peach has got kidnapped by bowser AGAIN and mario will have to save peach again. But this tine mario has to rely on the power of the stars and retrive the star rod from bowser so the mushroom kingdom can be safe again. And as we all know almost all of mario adventures turn into on crazy time. Well this time mario will find partners including a pink bomb-omb, a goomba with a hat and a similar name to mario and a mail carrying paratroopa. There are many partners each with differnt abilities to use in and out of battle. Plus this time around mario can equip badges that can have him use special abilites and have status changes like boost hp and fp by 5. As we all know the graphics are simpily stunning. The mix with 2D paper style and a 2D style makes it seem like a whole new type of video game. And well it is. And trhougout the whole game it feels like you are in one story book. Everyone will love these graphics i cant find anyone who would hate the look of this game. Now we get to the sound. The music in this game is great. The music as like in all mario games matches the area that you are in and gives it a good ffeel. The sound affects are nice too thank goodness for no voice acting. The battle system is awesome and the best ever. Its unlike all the other rpg's out there. THe badges you collect is sort of like differnt weapons uses. And your partner with a small move set will help out too. But whats differnt is that you can counter attacks reducing the power it gives and using star power which is a power you earn for rescuing the star. Its sort of like a magic attack. The battles are soo much fun and even fun to look at. I bet everyone has played this game but if you have what the hell are you doing. Get out from reading this review and buy this game or download it from the vc ASAP.
