Over four years later I still have extremely fond memories.

Four years ago I had never played through an RPG in my life. I had a copy of Phantasy Star II floating about somewhere in my house but I think it bored me to no end when I was younger (I wish I could find it again). Then the Gamecube came out, and one of my friends lent out every one of his N64 games, and I got Paper Mario.

Now, I'm the sort of person that tries to have more than one game going at once...play through Halo and Rome: Total War on PC, Ocarina of Time on the N64, FF IV on PlayStation...but once I got into this game I could not stop. You will not want to put your remote down until this game is finished. I ate my meals twice as fast as usual, just so I could advance farther in this game.

Play this game. Years later, you will remember baking cakes for fat Shy Guys, wandering through a barren desert, a frustrating fight with a giant Piranha Plant, and of course the truly epic boss fight with Bowser (Which I remember defeating having only a token life point left). This game is still running for $30 dollars used in most bins, but you could spend $50 dollars on a brand new RPG and still not be left with the satisfaction and the memories that you would inherit from this game.
