Is fun, innovative, and was revolutionary for mario rpgs and if they wouldn't have changed the game play in the newest paper mario the series would still be good. The story progression is great, because when its not serious it is absolutely hilarious and is so fun to play and I wouldn't care to play it over and over again. If you haven't played this or any of the others I recommend this or the second for your first game to play. By the second I mean ( Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door ). Whatever you do, don't rate the series on the latest paper mario ( Super Paper Mario ), because its totally different from this one and the second.
