great rental, bad replayability.

i thought this game was going to suck real bad when i saw trailers for it and stuff, but it did prove me wrong big time when i first tried it. It really is a well done rpg, but ff is by far the best still and is uncompetitive and dominates every other rpg in its path. but this game was made for nintendo fans, and they should give this game a shot if you are a gamer. Just remember one thing about the game... it will die, so rent it first.

The gameplay is amazing...at first. There are alot of side quests in the game and really can get you going in everything in the game if you feel like not progressing through the game, whether it be cooking food, gambling, beating monsters for practice, or find letters. but once you know all that stuff, you really just know everything and is to easy afterwards, plus after you beat the game you can only continue to where you were before bowser. so the gameplay is really good, but the replayability sucks.

The graphics are alright, and edible to get used to but some people could get really sick of it.

The sound is cool, but holy crap the music sucks, it just lacks the meaning of a symphony with heart, and instead has some crappy music that isn't even any good.

really, if you have an n64, you owe it to yourself to atleast give this game a try. its an awsome rental and a good nintendo game, but should only be owned by mario fans.
