This is what Nintendo does best

This game takes the popular mascot and puts him in a different style game than we are used to seeing him in. To start off this review, I just want to say that this game is a blast. It isn't a deep rpg, it doesn't have the deepest combat system, and the story is what you would expect from a Nintendo game, but the simplicity of this game is also its charm. The game is easy for the biggest rpg noobs would be able to pick it up and understand how it works, but engaging enough to keep the core players in front of their screens for hours on end. If I didn't have to go to work, I probably never would've turned this game off. The sound and graphics in this game just work for it. Sound effects are of the normal Mario fashion, but why would anyone want that to change? This right here is why I put Nintendo in the forefront of game developers, they take an idea, they shake it up, and they make it work for anyone who would possibly ever want to play it. Hopefully everyone does get a chance to play this gem and if you haven't, you should do yourself a favor and give it go. It is available on the N64 if you have on and it is also available for the Wii and soon to be Wii U VC.
