Paperboy 2 is way too overated. The game is bad.

The gameplay is very weak. All you do is throw newspapers either left or right, trying to get them into mailboxes. Since you are constantly moving, obviously there would be some sort of obstical in your way. In this game, there are (stay with me here) a monster that comes out of the sewer to try and grab you, huge monster trucks that take up half the street, a guy who can bowl a infinite amount of tires down his driveway, gargoyle statues that shoot fire, dogs, runaway baby carragies, a kid throwing an infinite amount of baseball across the street, girls playing skip rope, large automobiles, sewers (you'll crash it you run over one), garbage cans, potholes, a castle that has cannons shooting infinite amounts of cannon balls across the road...well you get the idea. This neighbourhood makes the ghetto look like a good place hang out at night.
The controls are very clean and the turning is sloppy. This increases the difficulty quite a bit as you are always moving.
The graphics are way below par for the SNES. Even the NES had better graphics. Duck Hunt looked way better than this!
The sound was repetitive and very basic. The music did seem to fit the mood quite well, but maybe I was just looking for something positive about this game.
This game isn't a good purchase nor is it a good rental. Don't get this game.
