Same Ol' repetitive gameplay, but still addictive

User Rating: 8 | Patapon 3 PSP
Like the previous installments of Patapon, you play the game by pressing each face button on your PSP to command your army. Your army, which now consists of 3 rarepons and 1 uberhero, compared to the 20+ pata-army from previous games, seems like a step on the wrong direction at first, but once you play you will realize that this seems to be much better

The game is now more of a mixture of RPG + Rhythm game. You'll spend your hours upgrading your equipment, unlocking classes and leveling up your Patapons. And with so many classes and skills to play around with, you'll find yourself wasting away your idle hours trying to level up each class.

Besides the normal move forward and attack gameplay, new game types are introduced like obstacle races and tower defense, which can be played solo or with friends.

Graphics-wise, it still looks the same as previous titles (Silhouetted characters and backdrops by Rolito), although you'll notice a few improvements here and there. Also, the main character is different from the normal pons and looks cooler with each class change.

If you own a PSP, you should definitely pick this up.
