A good game. You play as Jack and Kong in an intense jungle, as you fight you're way to New York. Sounds cool? See here.

User Rating: 7.5 | Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie PSP
King Kong and Jack in you're pocket, right when you want to play.
But the question is: does it work?
The answer is yes, but it could be better.
The game is good for a fan of a first person shooter. The controls are easy to master, the graphics are reasonable and the sound is good.
When you start playing, you will start as Jack, and the game may seem a little boring, but as you proceed deeper into the game, it will become highly addictive and very fun.
Deeper into the game you will also be able to play as Kong, but only for some periods of time. But those time periods you play as Kong will be enough to refresh the action of the game. Some people will prefer playing as Jack, and others as Kong. I myself prefer to play as Jack, it's more addictive for me, but for other people, playing as Kong will please them more.

The graphics are good, but they could be better. If you get too close to the crabs and the dinosaurs, you will see that they are really ugly. But if you keep you're distance, (you will want too keep it, otherwise you will die) the graphics seem really good.

The sound is great. The dinosaurs screaming and the weapons firing look like you are in the action inside the PSP.

The gameplay is really simple. You just need to walk, fire and reload. But of course, you won't just have to do that, you will also need to open doors, and collect some sticks that open those doors.

The duration of the game is normal. It could be a little longer though. If you are a good fan of action and first person shooters then you will play this game twice and maybe three times when you finish it.

Conclusion: it's a good game. It's really great playing it on the bus or an airplane. You will like this game if you buy it, but the game has some things that could be changed, but it's still a good game. You have Kong and Jack in you're pocket, what more do you want?
