This game is a game based on Peter Jackson's smash hit movie King Kong. You take on the role as Jack Driscoll and the big ape himself, King Kong. When you're being Jack you play in first person, when you play with King Kong then you're playing in third person point of view. When this producer person named Carl Denham lost his reputation for filming he needs to film something big to get his reputation. He then decided to venture to Skull Island and you Jack is his writer. They then got stuck in Skull Island because there was a storm. What seperate this from other games is how it feels realisticly you're on Skull Island. Skull Island is full of dinosaurs, giant insect, and many other horrivle things. The ultimite thing to do in this game is survive. You will be set in dense jungles with hungry predaters. You won't start out with many ammo in your guns. When you're out you need to find other things for a weapon. You will need to use bones and spears, which eventually breaks when you use it too much. You can burn the bones or spears on fire to do extra damage. Through out the game you will encounter small critters like dragon flies, worms, and lizards to feed to predaters to distracte them. This is useful when you're stuck in a hole and a predator is blocking the exit way, you can use your spear or bone to catch the critter and then through it somewhere and the creature will run after it. The predator will then eat it for a while when you're busy escaping. Let me tell you that there will be no icons on the screen when you're being Jack or Kong. The health thing works is when ever you get hurt the screen will be red. When this happens you need to escape from danger fast, if you wait for a while without being hurt, it will regenerate. How you check your ammo is by pressing a button and Jack will say it out loud. Traveling through the lands of Skull Island is immersive. The land is realistic and detailed. The way the creatures to their enviroment is realistic too. What I like about the creatures is when you encounter a big predator is makes you feel powerless because you can't hurt it. Well as I mention earlier you won't be only playing as Jack Driscoll, but as King Kong himself. Once again there will be no icons on screen and the health thing works the same way as Jack. You can do simple puches, kicks, and climbing with Kong. You can also grab trees, rocks, and enemies and you can have a chose of throwing them or swinging them. When you're fighting a huge predator like a T-Rex you can do a finishing move. What this is is when you hurt your enemy enough you get to finish your enemy off. When you're doing a finishing move you need to press a button repeatitly or else the enemy will release from your grasp. Some example of Kong's finishing move is him splitting a jaw of a T-Rex. But becareful your enemy has its own finishing move, and if you don't press your button fast enough then you're dead. The graphic in this game is good and expecially when you're looking around in the enviroment. The sound in this game is great. The roar of King Kong and other creatures is amazing. The music in this game has king of a good soundtrack. The replay value is short though. Though you can go through the game again to earn points to unlock stuff once you're done there will be nothing to do. Overall this game is a good representation of the movie. Few game I know of never been like this before. For anybody who ever like going on adventures in the jungle, well this game is for you.
