King Kong to hit cinimas soon, but does the game live up to early expectations?
While "king kong" is not the best game released this year, but its not at all the worst, but what seperates it from all the other first person shooters like: Half life, Doom, Far Cry, etc?
The answer is not much, whilst the beuty that revolves around the enviroment is nothing short of spectacular, along with amazing, and sometimes haunting sounds.
GAMEPLAY - "King Kong" is extremely challanging, the armed weapons mode, does not have a cross hair, and to throw spears, you have to rely on your other hand to guide, but most shots do end up finding the target, I think this is good, because it takes your mind of unnecersery details like aiming up your shot, allowing smoother gameplay.
The monsters are incredibly detailed, and most of the time, very spooky, coming at you from evry single direction imaginable.
GRAPHICS - The graphics are first class for XBOX, cant get much better than this, with the characters looking like the acters in every single way.
SOUND - Real voice overs from the stars of the film, and fantastic spooky feeling about this game, again outstanding!
But to me nothing sets it apart from any other first person shooter, and certainly not in the same class as "FAR Cry" which was released a few months back.
But I suppose if you want to get a taste of the movie, then give this one a try, but do not expect to much, but still a good ride!
