The thing what makes king kong better than other first person shooter games is that you cant go through the game blasting your way through the levels with your gun. Since there is no guns or amuniton on the island you rely on supply drops from a sea- plane but you only usuallay get 2-3 magazines. This means you have to use your rounds carefully and pick your target.You also find spears on the island which help you throughout the game. Not just for killing beasts on the island but for clearing paths and wakways.
secondly, the games visual effects and scripted scenes are outstanding and the games layout (not choosing to show health, ammunition,ect) makes the game feel as though you are in the movie.
This game is surely an instant classic
