The big ape breaks the curse of bad movie-game conversions in this adventure.

User Rating: 8.5 | Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie GC
When you think of movie-game conversions, you might think, "Oh boy, this game is gonna suck". Well, when you pick up a copy of Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie, then your reaction might be the opposite of what you expect with a game in this category. Ubisoft and Peter Jackson teamed up to make this adventure into an unforgettable one.

Gameplay: The gameplay as Jack Driscoll (Adrian Brody) plays just like a FPS. Your weapons are pistols, shotguns (my favorite), sniper rifles, and the tommy gun. Spears and bones to damage too. You can use dead creatures as bait for bigger ones if you feel uncomfortable fighting the big guys.

Kong's gameplay proves that he is the king of the jungle. His attacks are quite painful and can kill what Jack cannot destroy. Too bad you play as Kong less than you play as Jack.

Graphics: Beautiful. The visual representation of Skull Island makes it more pretty that what it really is.

Story: Just like the movie, but expanded. I like it that way.

Overall: If you are tired of crappy movie-game conversions, pick up this game. Kong delivers, and he delivers fiercely.
