While it was a new experience it was dissapointing...

Before I had never played a Phantasy Star game, but had heard good things, however after playing I can say that the gameplay was severely limited, of course you have to realize that I'm more of an adventure/action gamer, so my review is totally biased. There were a lot of cool things however, like the weapons and the different special abilities they each could have, myself I particularly enjoyed the riffles with the random instant kill. The story was pretty well done, I mean it wasn't a great story but it was compelling enough to keep playing to the end. The sound effects were highly repetitive and the graphics were unimpressive.
