I remember seeing this game about a year ago here and I was severely dissppointed to hear it was NOT gonna be coming stateside. Thanks Majesco!! Thanks for bringing one of those awesome, under-the-radar games to our homes. In terms of Gameplay it is alot like a strategy card game only in real time. You pick and choose attacks as you get them and place them in your arsenal (note that you can't do this until the 3rd chapter). You can hold up to 4 skills at a time with the others respawning to replace a skill you picked up. There are many different skills and online play is executed very well, though I wish more players can battle at the same time. my only real complaint is if you fight close to the enemies' respawn area or just away from yours in generals. You have to run all the way back to pick up more skills. This can be annoying when you are whaling on your opponent and suddenly run home to get more attacks. Graphics are by far my favorite part of the game. They are, in a word, amazing. Each of the 300 skills are animated beautifully and character movement is very well done. I like alot of eye candy and this game delivers well enough. Another graphical feature is the enviromental destruction. All attacks leave at least a small crater, some destroy the floor beneath you, and even something as simple as falling from a height will distort the terrain. I love knocking opponents into support pillars and watching them get crushed by the falling debris, very nice! The sound is also another satisfying portion of the game. The effects are well placed and help you feel the action. The soundtrack is particularly note-worthy. A blend of subtle metallic sounds and orchestra fit perfectly with the post-apocolyptic world you fight in. I should also mention that the game supports customized soundtracks, so you can beat 'em down to your own music. Overall this is a great game and at $20.00 brand new, you'd be stupid not to buy it. With over 300 skills to utilize in over 100 single player missions and the almost limitless amount of playability online this game will keep you entertained for months to come.
