"Kyonshis don't like Ice Cream"... ?
-Gameplay-
It was quite fun when I was really young. The difficulty back then was just right for my age, but playing it again, I can see that it is not that hard. Later on in the game, you can control your own Kyonshi to fight your enemies. You can also learn new martial art moves from a teacher. Like most nes games, it's quite short, but it was fun while it lasted.
-Graphics-
Graphics are good for the Nes. It gives you the feeling that you really are travelling through chinese villages.
-Sound-
The music in Phantom Fighter is nice to listen to. There are many tracks in the game and they all follow ancient chinese-like melodies.
-Value-
Well, I beat it a couple of times when I was young. But, I think a person of this generation wouldn't play it again after beating it once.
If you're looking for a zombie fighting game for the Nes, you should try this out. Even though it wasn't popular back in the days, I'd say it was worth my time. Try it out.
