Fortunately yes it is... but the end result is uninspired. First and biggest problem is that the chat goes upto only 100 meters. Which means that if no one had a DS near your area... your all alone. Probably couldve improved Pictochat if it had more chat categories. In chatting categories I mean like Arts Crafs, Sports, News, Daily Life, Video Games, Whatever like that. Graphix are fine too.. but theres only 1 sound... and feels rather a bit dull.. The value in Picto chat is perfect because you get it free! dont waste money on something like Ping Palz. Overall, Pictochat is great, but uninspired. Not enough people get on it and thats probably because it feels somewhat unfinished even when it was to be simple. Slightly higher improvements couldve made pictochat way stronger.
