Just great!
In the first Pikmin Olimar, the main character, was lost in an uncharted planet and used the help of the pikmin to find the missing parts of his ship. In this sequel you return to the planet with Louie, another employee, to help you find treasures to repay company's debt.
The addition of a character let you split you work and develop more complicated strategies, also adds to the funs as there is a multiplayer combat which allows you to do a treasure race with a friend. Later in the game you'll open a challenge mode which allows you to have cooperative play in some specific scenaries.
The controls are very good mapped for a game requiring such quick responses from you. Also, the gameplay include scenarios where you can breed more resources and some other where you're limited with the stock you choose (in general as some specially hard caves include some way of reinforcing your team).
The visuals are astounding and pretty realistic, you can even watch the enemies and treasures after you beat / collect them in animated enviroments, and they are all really great.
The natural sounds add a lot to the enviroment, but the pikmin sounds when throwing can be somewhat annoying.
This a sequel you can try without previous knowledge of the original title or even without the slightest taste for strategy games it really will add to your knowledge of VG and, more important, to your fun!
