Whats under an inch tall, has a leaf on it's head, can be commanded with ease, and offers hours of fun? Pikmin of course
Pikmin is a series that I have always enjoyed, and one of the few in which I hope for a sequel. The game is very innovative, much like it's predecessor. Some major changes from the first game include a pleasing lift of a time limit, as well as the introduction of Purple and White Pikmin.
As Olimar returns home he discovers his company has run out of assets, including the very ship Olimar is piloting! As his ship is inspected a piece of trash falls out, and much to everyone's surprise it's considered valuable! So the president of Olimars company sends him back to the planet we all love, where Pikmin roam the planet, and monsters run in fear!
The story progresses as you collect treasure for the company to sell, eventually leading to a special visit from the president himself! (Albeit on different reasons then you may suspect). The graphics of this game are much like the previous title, with slight adjustments and improvements. The combat system is virtually unchanged, with the exception of the new Pikmin. I highly recommend this game for any gamecube owner, it's wonderful!
