Nintendo took everything that made the first game and made it plain better! There is no time limit to complete the game unlike the first one which really takes down the stress level and makes for an incredibly relaxing and fun experience that anyone can pick up and play. The Pikmin world is more beautiful this time around even though most explorable areas are revamped versions of their previous counterparts, it feels totally different. The addition of split screen multiplayer adds to the fun even more, you can either team up with a buddy and work together in the 2 player co-op challenge mode or just be a jackass toward the other player in a versus mode. Bottom line, Pikmin 2 is a classic with an awesome story, amazing characters, outstanding gameplay along with state of the art graphics for the time... I will always remember this from my youth. Defiantly worth playing!
