Just when you think Nintendo can't come up with new ideas that top or compliment old ideas, BOOM, we get Pikmin. This is a game where you control 3 different colored little flower type things (each with their own special ability) and you use them to battle bugs and creatures on the planet you are crashed on while trying to collect all the parts from your ship which are scattered around the areas. You must have the proper amount of flower things there to lift the part of the ship you re trying to collect. The tricky part comes with the fact that you only have so many days to collect all the parts before you run out time. While it may sound simplistic on paper, Pikmin is a brilliant game pulled off in a brilliant Nintendo fashion. This game has provided me with hours upon hours of fun and I recommend his game to anyone looking for a nice enjoyable game that isn't competitive or overly violent. This is the type of casual game that I like to see from Nintendo and one of the reasons they are so vital in game development. Check it out.
